Early in his career, Dr. Kopera served with the United Nations International Medical team during conflicts in Southeast Asia, providing care in conditions that shaped a lasting commitment to accessible, practical medicine. That experience led to deeper study in the United States, mentorship in holistic and integrative medicine, and an ongoing research focus that spans functional medicine, genomic medicine, and cannabinoid science.
