JULY 2015

Grownetics Founded

Grownetics was founded on a simple idea: whenever sensors are deployed near plants to control the environment, we should harness that data to unlock valuable insights into yield outcomes at the individual plant level. Recognizing the absence of integrated solutions for crop analytics and automation, we embarked on a mission to construct the world’s first open-source CEA farm management platform.

MARCH 2016

Grownetics Cultivation Management Platform Launched

Our high density sensor deployment and 3D microclimate mapping tools immediately help cultivators pinpoint limiting factors to yield. Our early adopters realize yield gains of up to 30% through greater environmental consistency.

SEPTEMBER 2016

Award Winning Efficiency & Yields

Grownetics, in collaboration with Fleurish Farms and the University of Colorado, Boulder, achieve a groundbreaking milestone in cultivation efficiency. Through our unique open architecture, we demonstrated the possibility of cultivating with an extraordinary 40% reduction in energy compared to sole-source LED lighting.
